Part of event’s programmes includes the formal launch of the Edo State Open Data Portal. Major global and local technology vendors and solution providers are billed to exhibit their products and services at the flagship technology event holding Thursday, 12th and Friday, 13th September, 2013  from 10.00 a.m. at the Emporium, J.B. Estate, Off Boundary Road, Benin City.

“Governors Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State and Babatunde Fashiola (SAN) of Lagos State had graced the events in the past, as part of the efforts to broaden on-going conversation on mainstreaming technology in governance,” said Barr. Patrick Obahiagbon, Chief of Staff to the Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, in an official statement to announce preparations for the event.
